Love this series! Make sure you read book one 1st. Alot going on in this one, never a dull moment & keeps you on the edge your your seat> When's book 3 coming out? Highly recommend this one!
This is an amazing sequel to the Culling. This is even more tension packed than the first book, which I didn't think was possible. I won't give away any spoilers but there's definitely a lot of stuff I didn't see coming. It's always great when a book surprises you in a good way. Looking forward to the third novel!
One the best reads and stories I have read in awhile. Great story that leaves you wanting more. The Apocalyptic story that gives you chills. Just when you feel like things are gonna get better, they get worst. Finding yourself at the edge of your seat with every turn of the page. Hoping things will been seen and thought out with the characters and they will get to live in a world with love and peace. Yet its far from it. This is a great continuation from the 1st installment, I can't wait for the 3rd book. Need to find out what happens next.
This book was even faster than the first. The premise drew me in from the beginning. I loved all the great description and well-developed characters. Lucian "Lucky" Spark does not disappoint!
There is so much for me to say about THE SOWING. It's like all of my favorite science fiction, dystopian, and post apocalyptic books were put all into this book. The stakes are raising higher and I am very prepared for the next book!!!
I actually did not expect a gay themed sci fi book to be as good as the first book, The Culling, in this series was. However I was extremely surprised at how well the story and characters were laid out and presented let alone the author's ability to write a fantastic tale and keep me reading and reading not wanting to put the book down. Therefore since the previous book was so good I had to get the sequel, The Sowing. Not only was this book as good in all the above mentioned ways, it was far better! The author's writing ability astounds me, as his imaginative ability to continue surprising you as the story unwinds is amazing and he is able to keep me glued to the pages of the book so much so that I'm forced to put the book down in order to have more to read the next day as I don't want it to be over!

I'm going to buy any novel this author publishes.
I discovered this series two days ago, and COULDN'T STOP. I love and hated this series (very Game-of-Thrones-conflicting-emotions type stuff), but none of the books disappoint. Genuinely sad there are only three books in the series, but definitely worth the read!
